Privacy notice
Last updated: September 27, 2026
Under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 20, 2025, this notice explains what personal data we collect, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. This English version is provided for convenience; if it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
Data controller
Luz Adriana Franco Velázquez, who provides real estate services under the name Onore Real Estate, with an address at Calle Peñón, C.P. 37893, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data.
For any matter related to this notice, including formal notifications, you can write to onorerealestate@gmail.com or call 415 566 0331.
Personal data we collect
We collect the data you give us through the forms on this site or when you contact us by WhatsApp, phone, email or Instagram:
- Identification and contact data: your name, phone number and, if you email us, your email address.
- What you're looking for or offering: type of transaction, type of property, area, and any comments you choose to add.
- Financial and property data: the approximate budget you give us and, if you're an owner, the type, area and asking price of the property you want to sell or rent out.
The provider that hosts this site also automatically logs technical data from each visit, such as your IP address and browser type, for security and operational purposes.
We do not collect sensitive personal data. Please don't include any in the comment fields.
Why we use your data
We use your data for the following purposes, which are necessary to handle your enquiry:
- To answer you and send you information about the properties and services you're interested in.
- To find and suggest properties that match what you're looking for and, if you ask us to, let you know when one comes up.
- To schedule and coordinate viewings.
- To assess and market the property you offer us for sale or rent.
- To follow up on the negotiation and, where applicable, the transaction.
In addition, and not as a requirement for serving you, we may use it to:
- Send you information about other properties, investment opportunities and Onore Real Estate services you haven't requested.
If you don't want your data used for this additional purpose, let us know at any time at onorerealestate@gmail.com or by WhatsApp. Saying no won't affect how we handle your enquiry.
Consent
By giving us your data, you consent to its processing as described in this notice. Financial and property data require your express consent, which you give by ticking the corresponding box on the site's forms.
Data transfers
We only share your data when it's necessary for the transaction you've asked us to handle:
- With the property owner or their representative, to schedule viewings and present your offer.
- With other real estate agencies we co-market a property with, when the one you're interested in is listed by them.
- With the notary public who formalizes the transaction.
- With the competent authorities, when required by law.
Because they are necessary for the relationship you've requested, these transfers do not require your consent. We never sell your data or pass it to third parties for advertising.
Service providers acting on our behalf
To run this site we use technology providers that process your data only on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes: Vercel for hosting, Supabase for the database, and Google for email. Their servers may be located outside Mexico, mainly in the United States.
If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
Your ARCO rights and withdrawing consent
You have the right to access your data, rectify it if inaccurate, cancel it, or object to its processing (known in Mexico as ARCO rights). You can also withdraw your consent or ask us to limit how we use your data.
To exercise any of these rights, send your request to onorerealestate@gmail.com including:
- Your name and how you'd like to receive our reply.
- A document proving your identity or, if you're acting on someone else's behalf, your authority to represent them.
- A clear description of the data concerned and the right you wish to exercise.
- Anything else that helps us locate your data.
If you're requesting a correction, state the change and attach supporting documentation.
We will reply within 20 business days of receiving your complete request and, if it is granted, carry it out within the following 15 business days.
To stop receiving advertising more generally, you can also sign up for the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising run by Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco).
Cookies
This site uses a cookie to remember your language choice. We don't use advertising cookies or analytics tools; if we ever add them, we'll say so in this notice before turning them on.
Authority
If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you can file a complaint with Mexico's Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance (Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno), the competent authority.
